About me

Hello there.
I’m gonna start saying that I’ve always been drawn to the idea of leaving parts of myself unspoken, like an unfinished lines of a verse. In that sense, I remember Emil Cioran once wrote in The Trouble with Being Born: “A golden rule: to leave an incomplete image of oneself”. I believe there’s wisdom in that—and there’s something powerful in resisting the urge to be fully known, in holding something back. But a personal blog needs… well, a person. And so, here I am, unfinished and incomplete, but standing.
My name is Endherson, and this is my first ever personal blog. I’m a software engineer with over 9 years of experience focus on .NET and Android development. I’ve decided to create this site to share insights on topics I find interesting and maybe as a way to remind myself how to do certain things—and frankly, also because boredom sometimes knocks a little too loudly at my door. My posts supposed to revolve around technologies and tools I use in mobile and app architecture, but as you might have noticed, I feel more leaned to share thoughts about literature.
Indeed, besides tech, I’m a reader who enjoys exploring several genres as a way to relax, learn and hopefully understand different cultures. You’ll find a section dedicated to book reviews, where I share my thoughts on what I have read. While I might review famous titles, I’ll focus on lesser-known books and those I believe deserve some more attention, since they lack of the exposure, analysis and discussion compared with popular ones—after all, you can always find specialized studies and reviews about the famous ones. I also like traveling and in the recent years, I’ve tried to get a significant trip, at least, once per year and hope to share my experience about this subject as well.
Please, feel free to reach me out if you would like to share ideas or suggest topics. I welcome any thoughts or suggestions you may have.
Regards,
Endherson
